Film Review: Inferno
INFERNO
Directed by Ron Howard
Screenplay by David Koepp
Based on the book by Dan Brown
Starring Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones
Tom Hanks returns as Robert Langdon. This time with amnesia and trying to race against time to save the world from catastrophe
Ugh!!!!
I wanted to like it. I love the character. Then they throw in the wonderful Felicity Jones. I had good expectations.
Again...Ugh.
Well the good:
-As in the past two Langdon films, it is just beautiful to look at. Gorgeous.
-The film is well acted and exciting.
But then:
Then you have the script that has huge holes in it. Waaaay too many coincidences. With a twist at the end, that if you stop and look back at the whole film it makes no sense.
Boy Ron Howard needs a hit. It is not this one. 2 stars out of 5 for Inferno.
Inferno will be available for home viewing January 24 2017. it is worth a look at home for some mindless silly fun/action.
From the shadows as always thanks for your time.
