ZOMBIELAND DOUBLE TAP
Not as good as the first film. However remember Zombieland came out before "Zombie TV" was popular. Plus Zombieland was popular not as much for the full story but the classic lines like "Double Tap" and the Bill Murray scene.
So here in part 2 a lot of the lines feel rehashed and it takes awhile for this film to get going with some action. That all being said the film is not bad, not great, just good.
Harrelson; Eisenberg; Breslin; and Stone are all really good and have great chemistry. The plot point rings true, of how after all these years I can imagine that they must get on each others nerves, like being on a dessert island. Plus, the side plot of the large group who believe in peace and no battles is kinda funny because like animals over time..the zombies adapt.
The best part of this film is the introduction of Madison played by Zoey Deutch. Deutch steals the movie with the small screen time she has. She is wonderfully funny.
Yes it rehashes a lot...and sadly the Bill Murray scenes during the end credits fall really flat.
Still Zombieland Double Tap delivers humor along with Zombie killing...which is what you want...3 stars out of 5 for Zombieland Double Tap.
