New Film Review: Inside Game

INSIDE GAME

Inside Game follows the timeline and misadventures of NBA referee Tim Donaghy as he fixes games to make some money gambling and make some money for his friends.

This is Goodfellas as dummies. It is a crazy story, its amazing how far these guys from Delaware County got before they were caught. What they were doing was sooo obvious.

The film is definitely made on a shoe string budget. However director Randall Batinkoff did pretty well here. Looking like he used real locations as sets to save money.
The script is very basic and sometimes cringe worthy, only telling a shell of story here. Its obvious the NBA did not give the okay to use their Copyright, so basically we really do not see what Tim was doing...just the outcomes. Still the script written by Andy Callahan gives you what you need to know.

Well acted within the basic script by:
Eric Mabias as Tim (Sometimes stiff however)
Will Sasso as Babba
Scott Wolf as Tommy

As I guy who grew up in Delaware County PA, they do a great job being ...well...Delco.

3 stars out of 5 for Inside Game . Well done on a shoe string budget...I may have my Delco blinders on for this one.

From the shadows as always thanks for your time.
